Scrapy scrap challenge

hey all,
      One of our talented indian crafters,Shalini of Craftcurry, hosted a challenge, in which she would send us some scraps and we are supposed to make cards out of it.

These are the rules (taken from Shalini's blog)

Apart from the scraps you receive, you are allowed to use only the following basic supplies:

1. Card Stock
2. Adhesives
3. Color pens/Markers/Pens and other writing instruments
4. Your tools like the scissors, punching machines, die cutters, etc…  Only the tools/machines can be used… what you use them on, has to be either the above card stock or the scraps…
5. * Only one stamp allowed

          * No image stamp allowed... only borders, sentiments, flourishes, etc allowed :)

These are the scraps I received.These are the cards I made out of it.

The first one is a shaker card. The butterflies inside the window will move around when shaked and there is my favorite heart punch flower. The embellishment was small, so i added on to it by running her ribbon around a circular cut frame and mounted over a scallop circle.It is placed on acetate strip and it should be pulled out to open.In the left,drew lines in regular intervals,cut and folded the alternates.Brightened up the PP and added polka dots with white marker.

The second card is made out of the scraps of first card.

And congrats to Tejal , for winning this event!! and all the entries were outstanding.. we had difficult time voting

           So we finally come to the last day of AWIC.. and I must say,  I enjoyed it a lottttt and it was super fun..
Today's card is simpler and I cased Becky's card for FTL#131.Here is my card and is nt looking as good as hers :(

AWIC2 Day4:Who is hatchin?

hey girls,

        I combined the colors of PDCC#72 and the sketch of getsketchy#78.
This is what I came up with. After the Day2 card, I wanted to do one more with Teddy bear(s).And here is this card with 3 Bears!! and I loved coloring it using oil pastels!.The pink color paper is again from spring time. and the blue color paper from Itsy Bitsy. More work to black and white markers and my card is done!

AWIC2- Day3

Hello,

             Today is a quick card.. hmmm.. it is only third day of AWIC! and 4 more days to go..phew!

The card is inspired by the sketch of cleanandsimple.FTL#130.  Here is the sketch

and this is my take on it.

Paper is Spring Time. The flower is made from small pom pom lace..Hope you like it!

Hello peeps,

                    I wanted to CASE Summer for today's card .Love her bright cards!! I dont feel my card looks as good as hers... anyways this is my version of it..

PP is Forever Friends - Spring time. I substituted felt with vessel washing scrub pad(pink color).. does give the same effect.. but cutting became difficult. Rest from my stash.

Ganesha Mural

Hey ppl,

             Today I dont have a card.. but a Ganesha Mural to show you.. The base is wood... Used Mseal for the designs on it, colored using acrylic paint, stuck some stones, varnished.. the mural is ready!..
