Varnas Kitchen chicks

Hello!

These are some of the cards I designed for Varnas , when this set was release. They are in my facebook page. I felt, the Varnas Designer Cards did not receive the honour they deserve, as it was posted in all urgency and with so many other cards. So decided to dust(!!? :) ) all the old unshared photos and make posts in the coming week. What say?

This set is particularly different in the whole release and yet I have to say I enjoyed making these cards. The first one, the whole background was created with the checks stamps. And some coloring.
When I think of kitchen, the wall tiles came to my mind and so this card design

Yet another card to show , how the checks background and the other stamps could be combined.

And this paper piecing :)  and they look cute is nt it? :)

Stay tuned to see more on the Varnas release soon :)

Thanks for Stopping by

The cardstock is Favini, double sided. White paper is embossed with swirls background, which hardly shows in the photo.  I faux stitched around the quilled items. Hope u like it. And do play along the challenge! It was fun creating the card!

Today's Tutorial
Following the Kanzashi flower tutorial in this post, this is a Tsunami Kanzashi flower tutorial!.

Fold it in half 2 time..i.e one fourth
secure it with a safety pin. This becomes a petal
Create five such petals and sew them together.Remove the pins.Place a button or brad in the centre and finish the flower!
You can use the other side of the flower(blue one on right) also.cool is nt!?

Crafting a little less lately and wanted to show u some shaped cards from my exhibition! So late! I know.. Better late than never!Since ICRC17 has a similar challenge theme for the month, I decided to make a post, before the end of the month -finally!!

Believe me, shaped cards sell like hot cakes in exhibition, for the simple reason that I guessed, people cannot buy such cards in shop and they should be made. Here is some feast for ur eyes!

The Champagne bottle

Easel Butterfly
Flower pot
Will share a tutorial for this house card, it is made from a 4*12 cardstock - simple folds and so apt for a housewarming!
I love this onsie, and now I end up giving such cards to most of my friends , who had baby recently!
I already have made many shirt cards and it brings instant smile from the receivers face! There is a very good tutorial by Dawn in youtube!.
This teacup card is from a double sided cardstock and I simply loved its look!
This cake card is so easy to make with normal A5 cardstock, yet looks so good!
