Ribbon flower !! and Tip -Emboss without cuttlebug

hi ladies,

I saw ETs challenge on Yvonne's blog and immediately wanted to make ribbon flower!..:) So , for the first time in my card making, I took out a needle to make that ivory layer of the flower!! This credit goes to you Erum!.. I combined PDCC#96 colors and CardPatterns#130 to create this card!!

And here comes my creation

The colors are

The sketch is

This card also goes to
ICRC9 - Celebrate
Phindy's place - make your own embellishment
Paper Creations ink - show us your flowers

Leave me your valuable comments or suggestions.

Today's Tip

Emboss without cuttlebug!

If you are like me, do not own a cuttlebug but want that beautiful embossing on your cards, here is the tip.Take your rolling pin and apply good pressure on the folder with paper.Go over it again and again in various directions..you achieve what you want!!happy?

ET's addition to the tip: Mist the paper before embossing and the design would be much more prominent and you wont have to put too much pressure. Thanks ET!

  3. your embossing tip is great, i have an addition to make... mist the paper before embossing and the design would be much more prominent and you wont have to put too much pressure. I know this because I have done this for almost a year before my aunt finally brought my bug to Pakistan!
Now on to your fabulous fabulous card! You combined two great challenges, Card patterns and PDCC and the result is total gorgeousness!
